Launch of the new NDT website: Celebrating, championing and connecting Neilston

NDT are delighted to announce the launch of our new website in May 2019.

It has been thirteen years since the first NDT website and in that time, social media has become a part of almost everyone’s life and how we communicate. In addition, website technologies have become both easier to use and come with many new features. Time for change!

The website relaunch has provided NDT’s Board and staff with an opportunity to refresh and revisit our communications overall. Our aims have been to ensure we are in touch with, and accessible to, the community of Neilston as well as to make sure that Trust’s work in the community, and the priorities we have identified, are both shared with, and respond to, the needs and priorities identified by the community as well as national and global issues and priorities.

Our new website provides an overview of what we do in Neilston, and why and has enabled us to list the many great projects and groups active in the community, and the foundation of community life. It also allows visitors to post events and make bookings and enquiries directly and easily.

Have a look at About Us and Our People to find out more about the NDT, it is Board and staff; and Neilson as a place. Visit What We Do and Our Projects to find out more about the many great projects, services and activities delivered by NDT, including those supporting sustainability, well-being, learning and volunteering in Neilston.

Visit Get Involved and find out how you join our mailing list and receive updates and project information; become a member of the Trust and have a say in what we do; take forward volunteering interests; or to book a room or attend an event; and share your ideas and concerns. We would love to hear from you.

We are particularly delighted to with our interactive Calendar which lists groups and activities happening in the village throughout the year. It also provides an opportunity for people to post event and activity information directly, which could be everything from coffee mornings, school sports days to tea dances!

We hope our community map showing information on local groups, clubs and services across the village becomes a great resource, helping to connect people locally, be active, creative, to learn as well as find out more about opportunities get together. We also hope it will help us all to build a strong and well-connected community with well-supported and well-connected local groups.

We hope you find our new site to be interesting, informative, useful, accessible and easy to use. For more information on NDT services, our website and to be added to the community map, please call NDT at 0141 561 1201 or email
